Note: Remember while bringing your legs back to the original position do not touch your feet to the ground, as this will decrease the effectiveness of the exercise.

It is a multipurpose exercise.

This exercise is good for your abs, thighs, hamstring, and glutes.

To do this:

  • Lie down on the ground
  • Place your hands by the side of your hips
  • Now, lift your left leg up and hold for a second
  • After that release your left leg and lift your right leg up and again hold for a second
  • This completes one rep, do the same for the rest of the reps

Note: While doing this exercise, do not perform this super fast. Lift your legs slowly and bring it back slowly. You should feel the pain around your hips.

Do this Leg raises exercise for 3 sets of 12 repetitions.

Fire Hydrant:

  • Place your palms on the ground
  • Take back the normal plank position
  • Shift your body to the one side, say to the right side
  • Keep your one hand to the side of your waist to maintain the posture and the other hand on the ground
  • Be in that position for 45 seconds
  • When done with the right side, do the same by shifting your body to the left side
